Superfast Fibre is amazing

I just signed up for the Superfast Fibre and it's fantastic! The speeds are exactly what I needed for working from home. Setup was so easy, and the price was really good with their new customer offer. I'm telling all my friends about italk Telecom, I will definitely use them again!

Decent value, slight delay

I ordered the Full Fibre 900 package during their Black Friday deal. The price was competitive, much better than my previous provider. The internet speeds are generally excellent, very fast downloads and uploads as advertised. However, the activation date was pushed back by three days which was a bit inconvenient as I had planned my work around it. Customer service did keep me updated, so that was good. The router works well enough, but I might look into a WiFi extender for better coverage upstairs. Overall, a solid service for the price, just factor in potential small delays.

Smooth switch, decent service

I moved my broadband and landline over to Italk Telecom last month, choosing a Broadband and Phone Bundle. The switching process took about 10 days, which was clearly communicated upfront. I appreciated that. The router arrived a couple of days before activation, so I was ready to go. Speeds for the Standard Broadband are perfectly adequate for our family's needs, mainly streaming and general browsing. I had one small question about my first bill, and their UK-based customer support was helpful and resolved it quickly. Overall, a positive experience and good value compared to my old provider.

Hey, thinking of switching to Italk for my broadband. Anyone know if they actually use Openreach, or is it some other network? Want to make sure I'm not getting stuck with some weird connection.

R Ryan 3 months ago
Yeah, they use Openreach. Pretty standard, most providers in the UK do. Should be fine.

Can confirm, they definitely use the Openreach network. I switched last year and it was a pretty smooth process, they just took over the existing line, no new cables or anything like that. So if you've had BT or Sky before, it's the same infrastructure.

So I'm seeing a 'new customer offer' for Italk, sounds decent. Is that like, automatically applied when I sign up for a new contract, or do I need some special code I'm missing?

M Mark Patel 2 months ago
From my experience, those new customer deals are usually just applied at checkout when you pick a 12 or 24 month plan. Don't remember ever needing a code for it.

Yeah, I think most of their discounts are just built into the price you see for new contracts. Promo codes are pretty rare for them, unless it's like a special thing from a comparison site or something. So probably no code needed, just sign up for the deal you see.
